About the event
The tour of the former Mt .Tabor AME Zion Church and the nearby cemetery recounts the history of the former African American community. Both the former church and cemetery are included in the Cumberland County register of Historic Places, the National Register of Historic Places and in 2025, they were both added to the Pennsylvania State Historic Marker list.
