Come hear the history of the former Mt. Tabor AME Zion Church and the nearby cemetery. The cemetery has seven Civil War Veterans buried there. Come hear the history of the USCT (United States Colored Troops) soldiers.

About the event
Join us to discover the tales of this historic site. The former church and the adjacent cemetery are included on the Cumberland County Register of Historic Places and the National Register of Historic Places. In 2025, they were awarded a Pennsylvania State Historic Marker. Some walking is involved. Our tours are free, but donations are appreciated.
